If your name is on that list, you have at least 2 more weeks of practice to get us through Regionals (Sat 10/23) and States (10/30).
If your name is not on that list, your season is officially over. Good job! Please turn in your uniform as soon as possible. You are welcome to continue practicing with the team (as long as I have enough seats on the bus) but you are not required to do so.
Team Dinner:
All team members, whether on the postseason roster or not, are welcome to participate in the team dinner on Friday 10/22 at the Regans’ house. I will have a bus to drive some people over after practice on Friday. The dinner will probably run from about 5 to about 7:30 (early bedtime for racers).
Regionals Information:
The Western Maine Regional Championships will be held this Saturday 10/23 at Twin Brook. The classes run in a different order every year, and this year we are in the middle. That means that the boys will race at 11:10 and the girls at 11:45. Plan to meet at the NYA ice rink at 9:15. Parents should plan to arrive plenty early since parking at this meet is always a bear.
Trip to Belfast:
I have made reservations for a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn in Belfast for Friday 10/29 (the night before States). All team members, whether on the postseason roster or not, are welcome to come. Cost is approximately $30 (exact amount will depend upon how many people decide to come) and includes lodging and breakfast. Students should bring additional money for dinner and other incidentals.
