Henry Sterling was awarded the John Casavola Outstanding Performer of the meet for the running events this past Saturday at the Western Maine Conference Championships held at Yarmouth High School. Henry ran the anchor leg for the 1st place (in division 2) 4x800m relay and then ran a 9:20.90 to win the 3200m run just missing the conference record by half a second with the nearest competitor over half a lap behind. Henry finished his day just 20 minutes later running the anchor leg of the 4x400m relay which finished 2nd. The 4×800 (A. Coffin, N. Kolkin, A. Dahia, H. Sterling) ran the 2nd fastest time ever run by an NYA team and in the 3200m Henry broke his own school record by 10 seconds. Full meet review
